• Please read the terms and conditions enumerated in the following pages which is important and informs you on your rights as a member of the Paramount Royale programme. We recommend that you do a thorough reading of these terms and conditions before using your Paramount Royale membership. All the clauses are to be read in conjunction with others as they may be related.

    I Membership Agreement
    The terms and conditions explained herein set out the contractual relationship between 'Paramount Airways' and 'You' as an individual member of the Paramount Royale programme.

    They cover limitations and exclusions on the liability of Paramount Royale and form the membership agreement. Once you quote your Paramount Royale membership number to Paramount Airways, it is considered as acceptance of the terms and conditions.

    II Definitions
    In these terms and conditions, unless the context specifies otherwise:
    1. “Paramount Airways” refers to Paramount Airways (Pvt) Ltd.
    2. “Paramount Royale” refers to the Frequent Flyer programme managed and operated by Paramount Airways offering benefits,facilities or arrangements to members by reason of their membership into the programme.
    3. “Royale” is short form for Paramount Royale.
    4. “Royale Card” and “Membership Card” refer to a Paramount Royale membership card.
    5. “Member” means a member of Paramount Royale.
    6. “Applicant” refers to any individual who fills in and mails the Paramount Royale membership form to the Paramount Airways office or enrolls online.
    7. “Royale Miles” refer to the miles accumulated by a member into his / her Paramount Royale membership account for flying on any Paramount Airways qualifying flight on a statement issued by Paramount Airways.
    8. “Mileage” refers to the credits denominated as Royale Miles earned by a member and credited to a member's account.
    9. “Status Royale Miles” mean the base miles accumulated by a member into his / her Paramount Royale membership account for flying on Paramount Airways qualifying flight in Elite Class or First Class only and these miles are taken into consideration for determining membership and tier status.
    10. “Bonus Royale Miles” are the miles awarded by Paramount Airways over and above the base Royale Miles earned by a member. Such award of Bonus Royale Miles is purely at the discretion of Paramount Airways and these miles do not contribute to the tier status of the member and appear separately on the statement issued by Paramount Airways to its members.

    “Assessment Period” means the duration of time taken into account to determine a Paramount Royale member's tier or mileage validity status. It refers to multiple assessment periods as per the Paramount Tier Review (PTR).
    12. “Data” means information personal to a member.
    13. “Fraud” includes fraud, dishonesty and deceit, and in particular:
    a) Knowingly supplying incorrect information, including at the time of booking to accrue Royale Miles.
    b) Attempting to accrue Royale Miles for sectors that have not been flown or are not eligible for Royale Miles.
    c) Altering documents to procure Royale Miles.
    d) Attempting to accrue Royale Miles for sectors flown by any person other than the member.
    e) Using or attempting to use stolen or counterfeit tickets on Paramount Airways.
    f) Attempting to accrue Royale Miles more than once for the same sector.
    g) Selling, bartering and / or purchasing Royale Miles or Awards including attempting to sell or transfer Royale Miles or Awards by means of internet-based sales or auctions. h) Knowingly benefitting from the fraud or misconduct of another member or individual.
    14. “Loss” means losses, costs, damages, injuries, accidents or claims (whether direct or indirect) suffered by members in connection with the provision of services or awards.
    15. “Sector” means a single direct flight sector between two destinations, eg. Chennai - Bengaluru.
    16. “Processing” and “Processed” include obtaining, using, recording, and holding in electronic or any other form.
    17. “Royale” is the entry-level tier of Paramount Royale and means that the member has filled up the Paramount Royale membership form and has the temporary paper card that will be replaced with the Paramount Royale plastic card after he / she has flown at least once on a qualifying Paramount Airways flight.
    18. “Royale” is the membership level, which any individual is awarded.
    19. “Royale Award” means an Award / free ticket issued to a member by Paramount Airways upon redemption by the member, of an appropriate part of that member's Royale Miles from his / her membership account.
    20. “Qualifying Flight” means a Paramount Airways flight taken with the purchase of a paid ticket against the flight that is eligible for mileage earning.
    21. “Qualifying Charges” refer to a Paramount Airways flight taken with the purchase of a paid ticket against the fare that is eligible for mileage earning.
    22. “Paramount Tier Review” (PTR) means the various rules applied to a member's tier status, depending upon which, his / her tier is retracted, retained or upgraded to the next level.
    23. “Quarter” means the unit time, which comprises of a consecutive three month stretch. The standard three month periods determined as “Quarters” in the Paramount Royale programme are Jan 1 - Mar 31; Apr 1 - Jun 30; Jul 1 - Sep 30 and Oct 1 - Dec. 31.
    III Membership
    1. Paramount Royale membership is open only to individuals who are residents of India (other than employees of Paramount Airways) who are above 12 years of age at the time of joining the programme.
    2. Membership is not available to corporate, unincorporated associations or similar entities.
    3. Membership to Paramount Royale is offered at the discretion of Paramount Airways and Paramount Airways may also refuse membership to any applicant.
    4. To apply for membership, an individual must complete the Paramount Royale membership form and return it to Paramount Airways or apply for one online.
    5. Paramount Royale membership commences as soon as the individual is in possession of the Paramount Royale membership number. However, Royale Miles are credited to the account only after the Paramount Airways office receives the duly completed membership form or online application and is processed.
    6. The member agrees that by using Paramount Royale membership card and by quoting his / her membership number to Paramount Airways he / she has read and understood the terms and conditions of Paramount Royale and confirms that he / she is bound by such terms and conditions.
    7. A Paramount Royale membership card is valid only for use during the period indicated on it and / or till the validity of the membership. The member named on the Paramount Royale membership card is the only person who may use the Paramount Royale card for any purpose whatsoever. A Paramount Royale membership card is not transferable and is not a credit card.
    8. If the card is lost, Paramount Airways will reissue Paramount Royale membership upon receiving a written request from the member. A processing fee of 200 Royale Miles will be levied for the same.
    9. Paramount Royale membership numbers are non-transferable.
    10. A person may be enrolled into any one Paramount Royale membership account. If more than one account number is assigned to the same individual (duplicate accounts), Paramount Airways reserves the right to merge the two accounts. 11. Misuse of membership cards or programme benefits may result in termination of membership or withdrawal of benefits at the discretion of Paramount Airways.

    12. Change of address and / or name change on the member's record will be accepted only if they are notified to the Paramount Airways office in writing. Proof of name change shall be furnished when asked upon by Paramount Airways. In all correspondence by the member, it shall bear such member's signature and his / her membership number.
    13. If benefits, facilities or arrangements are provided or made available to a member as a result of his / her membership provided by Paramount Airways, such a member will be personally liable for any and all costs, taxes, charges, claims or liabilities of whatever nature arising from the provision or availability of such benefits, facilities or arrangements.
    14. The Paramount Royale membership cards remain at all times the property of Paramount Airways, which in its absolute discretion and without giving notice to such member, may refuse membership, revoke membership or refuse or withdraw an upgrade (as applicable) to any tier of membership. The member must return his / her Paramount Royale membership card without delay whenever requested by Paramount Airways.
    15. While Paramount Airways will endeavour to see that the services, benefits, facilities and arrangements as expressed or advertised will be available to the members, Paramount Airways will not be liable for any loss or damage, whether direct or indirect, arising from the provision or non-provision, whether whole or part of any such services, benefits, facilities or arrangements.
    16. When a member seeks to use or obtain any of the services, benefits, facilities or arrangements offered, the provision of such services, benefits, facilities or arrangements will be subject to the respective terms and conditions of the provider of said benefits, facilities or arrangements.
    17. If a member fails to provide the required membership information accurately when making a booking or checking-in for flights on Paramount Airways, it may result in the applicable Royale Miles not being credited to the member's account and Paramount Airways will not be responsible in this regard.
    18. Only the member is eligible to obtain information from Paramount Airways relating to such membership data including but not limited to travel data, Royale Miles accumulated and class of travel flown by the member.
    19. Paramount Airways reserves the right to change the Royale Award structure by revising the Royale Miles levels required to attain a particular Royale Award, stipulate a specified period during which Royale Miles cannot be redeemed; limit the number of seats available for the redemption of Royale Miles to any destination or on certain specified flights; alter the number or types of journeys required to obtain a particular Royale Award; change the parties from which programme partners may be obtained / redeemed; impose a time limit upon the validity for redemption of any Royale Miles issued by Paramount Airways; introduce or review membership fees; and modify the procedures and rules relating to ticketing on redemption of Royale Miles without prior notice.
    20. Paramount Airways reserves the right to terminate the right of any or all members to earn or redeem Royale Miles at any time without giving any notice.
    21. Paramount Airways shall not be liable for any loss or damage, whether direct or indirect, resulting from termination or change to the Paramount Royale programme or any of the facilities, benefits or arrangements, which are made available to members.
    22. These terms and conditions are governed by Indian Laws. In the event of any disputes, the appropriate court in Chennai shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
    IV Membership

    A) Via Membership Form
    i. Prospective members may apply to enroll through a 'Membership Form'. Membership must be in the applicant's name and only one membership per individual will be accepted. However, Royale Miles are credited to the account only after the duly completed membership form is received from the member and the membership number allotted. ii. Mileage credit accrued will not be honoured until the duly filled-in membership form has been accepted and processed by Paramount Airways.
    iii. Membership form will not be processed and treated as valid unless completed correctly in English and signed by the member.

    B) Via Website Registration
    i. Prospective members may apply to enroll into the Paramount Royale programme through the Paramount Airways website and may start to quote the Paramount Royale Membership number that is sent to him / her via e-mail on successful completion of the online enrolment process.

    V Updating Account Information
    1. It is the Paramount Royale member's responsibility to notify the Paramount Airways office of any change in his / her name, address or preferences in writing, duly signed by the member.
    2. Members may also update their address and preference details directly online. Name changes, however, cannot be made online.
    3. Members may write to the Paramount Airways office addressed to:- Alexander Square, 35, Sardar Patel Road, Guindy, Chennai - 600 032, India.
    4. Name and address change requests should be accompanied by supporting legal documentation, as may be specified at the time of making the name change request.
    5. Please do not reveal your user login ID (Paramount Royale number) and password to anyone.
    6. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password.
    7. Members should keep the password confidential and secure, and it should be changed immediately if you have any reason to believe that your password has become known to anyone else or if the password is being, or is likely to be, used in an unauthorised manner.

    VI Membership Status and Tier Evaluation
    1. Royale, Royale Plus, Royale Silver, Royale Gold and Royale Platinum are the various tiers of the Paramount Royale programme.
    2. The Royale tier is the entry level into the Paramount Royale programme. Entitlement to the Royale Platinum, Royale Gold, Royale Silver and Royale Plus tiers depends on the applicable level of Paramount Airways flights or the Status Royale Miles earned by members within a stipulated time period.
    3. Paramount Tier Review (PTR) enables the member to retain or upgrade a membership tier. The details of the same are published in the programme handbook and can also be found online.
    4. Paramount Airways reserves the right to change the number of Paramount Airways flights or the Status Royale Miles needed to qualify for each tier, from time to time, but will inform members in advance of any changes.


    VII Earning of Royale Miles
    1. A member's earning of Royale Miles and flight counts only for travel undertaken on a qualifying Paramount Airways flight, in one of the different pre-determined earning bands based on the class of travel. Bookings made in any class that is not mentioned in the table are not eligible for accrual of Royale Miles or flight count. The base Royale Miles calculated for each sector is for a full fare Elite Class ticket. Members can check the accrual eligibility of a class online or by contacting Paramount Airways office.
    2. Only revenue travel (other than travel based on bulk, charter or published fares, or travel industry reduced rate travel) on qualifying Paramount Airways flights will receive Royale Miles credit.
    3. To ensure credit of Royale Miles, the member must make all his / her bookings in the same name as the name printed on the Paramount Royale membership card.
    4. To earn Royale Miles, the member must quote his / her Paramount Royale membership card number at the time of making the booking and also present his / her Paramount Royale membership card at the time of check-in.
    5. Failure to give complete / correct information may result in the Royale Miles due for that activity not being credited to the member's account and the member not receiving certain service benefits.
    6. A member must give his / her membership number to the reservation agent / travel agent each time a reservation is made for travel on Paramount Airways or for qualifying travel. A member should also present his / her Paramount Royale membership card during check-in. Failure to give complete information may result in earned Royale Miles not being credited to the member's account and the member not receiving certain service benefits.
    7. If a member is involuntarily re-routed by Paramount Airways on another carrier for reasons within Paramount Airways' control and the original Paramount Airways flight on which the member was booked would have qualified for Royale Miles, the member may claim a Royale Miles credit by sending details including ticket coupons and boarding pass where issued, to the Paramount Airways office.
    8. Royale Miles will not be awarded when the flight booked is cancelled or re-routed due to any reason beyond the control of Paramount Airways including but not limited to weather delays.
    9. The responsibility to check that the Royale Miles and activities have been properly credited lies with the Paramount Royale member. This can be checked online.
    10. All activities that are not tracked automatically at the time of travel may be credited later at Paramount Airways' discretion, provided the claim is made within six months from the date of travel or relevant transaction.
    11. A new Paramount Royale member may claim mileage for eligible Paramount Airways flights taken up to three months prior to the date of enrolment into the Paramount Royale programme.
    12. In case of dispute about entitlement to mileage credit, Paramount Airways may require proof of travel on the relevant sector including the retained segment of the boarding pass and passenger receipts for the sector claimed to have been flown. Claims must be lodged within six months from the date of travel.

    VIII Transfer of Royale Miles
    1. Royale Miles are not transferable and cannot be combined with the Miles / points of any other account.
    2. At no time may Royale Miles be credited to, or Royale Awards be purchased by, or sold to, or otherwise transferred to any person other than the member. Any such Royale Miles or Awards are void if transferred for cash or other considerations. Any person who commits such acts is liable for damages, litigation and related costs to Paramount Airways who reserves the right to terminate membership of such persons. Royale Miles can, however, be redeemed for Royale Awards ticket for the member, or his / her family and friends or any person whose name is mentioned on the Royale Award request form duly signed by the member.
    3. Use of Royale Award tickets that have been acquired by purchase or for any other consideration may result in the Royale Award tickets being confiscated. In such cases, if a trip has already commenced, the remaining portion of the travel will not be eligible for the benefit of Royale Award ticket and such travel will be at the passenger's expense on a full-fare basis.
    4. Royale Award tickets will be issued to any name requested prior to ticketing, and such tickets will be issued and handed over
    4. to the member at the nearest Paramount Airways office. The member has to collect such an award ticket on production of sufficient proof of identity from any of the Paramount Airways offices. In case such member is not able to receive the Royale Award ticket in person, he / she should authorise someone in writing to collect the Award ticket on his / her behalf along with the original membership card.

    IX Mileage Calculation
    1. Royale Miles will be credited to the member's account based on his / her class and sector of travel.
    2. Mileage can be accumulated only once per flight per member, regardless of the number of seats purchased. Mileage will be credited only to the member who has traveled on the flight, on the relevant sector, and not to any third party, irrespective of who has paid for the seat.
    3. Royale Miles credit for a member's travel on Paramount Airways shall be based on the Royale Miles table between the cities where the member's travel begins and ends.
    4. Mileage will be calculated between the origin and final destination.
    5. For connecting flights, Royale Miles will be credited as the total of the separate sectors of the trip, but on direct or through flights with one or more intermediate stops, Royale Miles will be determined from the place of origin to destination of travel.
    6. Royale Miles credit will be awarded according to the class of travel booked, regardless of travel flown, as well as sector of travel and will be awarded to the member of each journey sector flown on a qualifying flight. The member must travel (on an eligible fare) to qualify for Royale Miles.
    7. Voluntary plane changes in lieu of non-stop and / or direct flights for accumulation of additional mileage or segments are not permitted.
    8. If class of travel is Paramount First on a qualifying fare, the member will enjoy a cabin bonus in addition to the base Royale Miles. The responsibility to check if a fare is a qualifying fare lies with the Paramount Royale member.
    A) Mileage credit is not applicable for the following:
    i. Refunded, forfeited and unused tickets.
    ii. Airline employees, travel agents, tour conductors and / or other persons travelling on a non-revenue basis or travel industry / cargo customer discount fares.
    iii. No Royale Miles or flight count will be awarded for any Paramount Airways flight booked under the following classes: X, Y, E, O, P, Z. Paramount Airways reserves the right to add or remove booking classes from the list.
    iv. Free ticket of any kind (e.g., Award tickets issued under this programme, promotional and sponsorship tickets).
    v. Tickets purchased to carry excess baggage such as musical instruments or to provide extra space to the primary passenger.
      1. Account status of any member who does not record a single activity during any of the 365 consecutive days after enrolment or after the last flight date will be made inactive.
      2. All Royale Miles accumulated in this programme are valid for redemption up to 13 quarters after they have been earned. These Miles include Status Royale Miles and Bonus Royale Miles.
      3. Reporting of mileage credit and other account information.
       
    i. Mileage statement is sent periodically to members giving their previous month's mileage activity. The summary indicates the mileage credit earned on Paramount Airways flights as well as mileage redemption activity if any.
    ii. All mileage discrepancies must be reported to Paramount Airways office within 180 days of completion of the activity.
    iii. All Paramount Royale members will receive their mileage statement via e-mail every month.
    B) Reporting of Paramount Royale Account Discrepancies
    i. Members are advised to retain their original tickets and boarding passes till mileage credit appears on their mileage statement and report any omissions in their Paramount Royale account to the Paramount Office via mail, email, fax or online.
    ii. Paramount Airways is not responsible for the delivery of “incoming” correspondence. Verbal notification for mileage credit discrepancies is not accepted. Altered or illegible documents will not be accepted for the purpose of crediting / debiting of Royale Miles, as the case maybe.

    X Redemption of Royale Miles
    A) General Conditions
    i. Members can redeem their Royale Miles for an Award ticket only after they have recorded a minimum of 10 flights or 15,000 Royale Miles in their Paramount Royale account.
    ii. Awards for travel will only be issued to and from destinations served by Paramount Airways at the time the ticket is issued, and also at the time the ticket is used. The most direct routing must be taken.
    iii. Royale Award on Paramount Airways can be requested for both one-way or return travel.
    iv. Royale Award tickets issued against Royale Miles are not eligible for mileage credit.
    v. Royale Award on Paramount Airways may be returned to the Paramount Airways office for redeposit or reissue, subject to the ticket still being valid for travel.
    vi. Paramount Airways reserves the right to limit the number of seats made available for Award travel in their absolute discretion.
    vii. While there are no blackout dates applicable for Awards on Paramount Airways, there may be occasions when despite seats being available (in commercial classes), Royale Awards may not be available.
    viii. All Royale Award tickets are subject to rules and restrictions of the appropriate governments. For additional travel conditions or restrictions, check with Paramount Airways.
    ix. Sale, purchase or barter of Royale Miles is not permitted and will be considered as illegal, unless authorised Paramount Airways personnel carry out the transaction.
    x. Royale Award tickets have no monetary refund value.
    B) Claiming a Royale Award Ticket
    I. Request for Royale Award must be made at any Paramount Airways office either in writing via mail or fax or by requesting the same online in accordance with such procedures as may be in force from time to time for the issue of Royale Awards.
    ii. A member must advise Paramount Airways office at the time of making the flight booking, that he / she will be redeeming Royale Miles to avail of a Royale Award.
    iii. Royale Award request will not be considered valid unless completed in all respects and duly submitted by the member. In case of a written request for redemption, unsigned requests will not be processed.
    Only the member's signature as provided on his / her membership form is valid.
    iv. Royale Award tickets can be booked online or by Paramount Airways ONLY. Travel agencies are not authorised to book and issue Royale Award tickets.
    v. Royale Award tickets are booked in a separate class and this is different for each airline.
    vi. When booking Award travel, members may find that although flights are not completely booked, Awards are not available. Particularly during peak periods, there may be a limited number of Royale Award seats available for Award travel.
    vii. In the case of infants (under two years of age) travelling with a member on a Royale Award ticket, such a member shall pay the applicable fare for the infant. No Award ticket will be issued for an infant.
    viii. Royale Award tickets on Paramount Airways for children below 12 years will be “charged” 50% Royale Miles for the relevant destination.
    ix. Royale Award request for travel on Paramount Airways must be made at least three days prior to the intended flight date.
    C) Re-issue / Re-routing of Royale Award Tickets
    i. Once ticketed, a Paramount Airways Royale Award can be changed; however, any change will attract a processing fee of an additional 500 Royale Miles for change requests. This processing fee of 500 Royale Miles is waived for Royale Platinum members.
    ii. Royale Award ticket can be re-issued online or brought for re-issuance to the ParamountAirways office before the intended date of travel.
    iii. Royale Miles redeemed for an award ticket on Paramount Airways will be re-credited as long as the ticket is cancelled online or at Paramount Airways ticketing counter.
    iv. A processing fee of 500 Royale Miles will be charged for a Royale Award on Paramount Airways cancelled more than one hour before the departure of the flight. However, this cancellation fee is waived for Royale Platinum members.
    v. Royale Award ticket cancellation / re-booking done less than one hour before departure will attract a deduction of 50% applicable mileage.
    vi. No show passengers in Paramount Airways Award tickets (confirmed passengers who do not present themselves for their booked flight) will also attract a deduction of 50% applicable mileage.
    vii. Members who check-in for their flights but who do not report at the boarding gate for their flight will forfeit their Royale Miles that have been redeemed for that Royale Award as the ticket will be deemed as used.
    viii. No change of name is permitted on Paramount Airways Award tickets. The same can only be cancelled.
    ix. Royale Award re-issuance does not extend validity of the tickets or Royale Miles redeemed to issue the ticket.
    D) Lost / Stolen Royale Awards and Redemption
    i. If a Royale Award ticket is lost or stolen, then the member should immediately inform the Paramount Airways office.
    ii. If a member chooses to cancel his lost ticket, the Royale Miles will be re-deposited and taxes refunded.

    XI Purchase of Royale Miles
    A ) Upgrade Award
    i. Upgrade Awards can only be used in conjunction with a confirmed Paramount Award issued on Paramount Airways.
    ii. The upgrade amount is charged per sector of travel.
    iii. Requests for such upgrades have to be submitted in writing to the Paramount Airways airport office at the time of check-in. Only the Paramount Airways airport office can process such requests.
    iv. Flight / date changes prior to or after departure are permitted, provided the new itinerary meets all the provisions of the programme including but not limited to booking class and travel date requirements.
    v. In case a Royale Award ticket which was being used in conjunction with an upgrade award is cancelled, the upgrade amount will be returned in full.
    B) Sale of Royale Miles
    i. A member may top-up his account at any time by purchasing additional Royale Miles.
    ii. By submitting the request for purchase of additional Royale Miles via mail, fax or online or by providing a credit card number for the purchase of Royale Miles.
    iii. Determination of the value of the Royale Miles is at the sole discretion of the Paramount Royale programme. Paramount Royale reserves the right to change the price of Royale Miles, impose additional restrictions on purchasing Royale Miles and / or conditions of obtaining Royale Miles.
    iv. Paramount Airways reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to approve or disapprove the participation of any Paramount Royale member in the Royale Miles offer.
    v. Each Royale Miles transaction under the purchase of the offer can be for more or less than 500 Royale Miles and in multiples of 100 thereafter.
    vi. Royale Miles purchased under the offer will be posted to the said Paramount Royale account within 72 hours of receipt of such request.
    vii. In the event of any mileage or financial discrepancy, payment calculations shall be based upon data maintained by Paramount Airways or its agents and which shall take precedence over the data in any other records.
    viii. Royale Miles purchased under the offer are non-transferable and may not be pooled with Royale Miles in another Paramount Royale account.
    ix. All Royale Miles purchased under the offer are non-refundable.
    x. Any improper usage or misuse of Royale Miles shall be the ground for immediate confiscation and forfeiture of all Royale Miles in the member's account from the Paramount Royale programme.
    xi. Royale Miles purchased through the offer will lapse 13 quarters from the date of purchase.
    xii. Royale Miles purchased under this offer do not qualify for tier evaluation.

    XII Upgrade Vouchers
    1. From time to time, Paramount Royale may offer its members vouchers, which will entitle the holder to complimentary upgrades to Paramount First.
    2. Royale Silver and Royale Gold members will receive 1 and 2 Standard upgrade vouchers respectively which will entitle them to an upgrade to Paramount First Class.
    3. Confirmed upgrade vouchers issued to Royal Gold and Royale Platinum members can be used in conjunction with a confirmed revenue Elite Class booking. Royal Gold members will receive 1 Confirmed upgrade voucher and Royale Platinum members will receive 5.
    4. Upgrade vouchers can only be used in conjunction with a confirmed revenue Elite Class booking.
    5. Usage of all complimentary upgrade vouchers is based on our 'Travelled Distance' concept, which is determined at the rate of 1 voucher for every 1500 Royale Miles flown with a minimum of 1 voucher per boarding pass. The travelled distance is equal to the full fare Elite Class Royale Miles earned for that flight.
    6. An upgrade voucher must be registered with a Paramount Airways office by quoting the voucher number, a minimum of 48 hours prior to departure of the flight on which the upgrade is required.
    7. Upgrade requests made 24 hours prior to departure will be considered as a listing only. Listing of the upgrade is not a confirmation. If at the time of check-in, a seat in First Class is available, the same will be offered in lieu of vouchers.
    8. Listing for an upgrade is mandatory. Paramount Royale members who have not listed themselves for an upgrade may not be accommodated even though seats may be available in Paramount First at the time of departure.
    9. Reporting time at the airport is minimum of 45 minutes prior to departure.
    10. Use of upgrade voucher is not subject to any blackout periods. It is however subject to class and capacity control.
    11. The complimentary upgrade is valid on direct, one-way flights and non-stop Paramount Airways flights only.
    12. The upgrade voucher is not refundable, exchangeable, transferable or extendable, has no cash value and is void if the voucher is combined with any other voucher or offer.
    13. Lost upgrade vouchers cannot be replaced.
    14. . The Paramount Royale member can transfer the upgrade voucher to anyone, by endorsing the same on the face of the voucher.
    15. The voucher will be deemed fully used upon surrender and will not be honoured retroactively.
    16. Paramount Royale members will be awarded flight count and will earn Royale Miles for the booked Elite Class ticket and not for the class flown.
    17. Paramount Royale members not listed for upgrades may not be accommodated even though seats may be available on departure.
    18. Prior flight / date changes to be permitted, provided the new itinerary meets all the provisions of the programme, including but not limited to booking class and travel date requirements.
    19. Any other vouchers issued by Paramount Airways for complimentary upgrades will be governed by the terms and conditions printed on the voucher.
    20. The upgrade will be valid only on production of the correct voucher(s).

    XIII Complimentary Lounge Access
    1. Lounge access at select airports will be extended to all Royale Miles members.
    2. Lounge access will only be offered at the departure airport where available.
    3. For in-transit members, the lounge access will only be offered if the onward journey is on a Paramount Airways flight.

    XIV Data Processing and Protection
    1. By using his / her Paramount Royale membership card number and quoting his / her Paramount Royale membership number to Paramount Airways, a member consents to Paramount Airways, creating, maintaining or updating data that is personal to the member. Such data includes membership data like name, address, telephone number, date of birth, employer, seat preferences, etc, travel data (including without limitation, flights taken, Royale Miles accumulated and class of travel flown) and data concerning contacts with Paramount Airways (including without limitation, enquiries regarding membership) and will be maintained and updated for the purpose of providing relevant information and services to the member.
    2. Before any data relating to a member is disclosed to the selfsame member by Paramount Airways, the member may be asked security questions, which may require him / her to confirm his / her identity by providing information held by Paramount Airways.

    3. Paramount Airways may disclose data relating to a member to a third person who has been nominated in writing by the member to Paramount Airways in advance.
    4. A member is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of his / her online logins and passwords and Paramount Airways shall have no liability in the event that a member's login and / or password is disclosed by the member whether intentionally or not, so as to allow a third person online access to the data and to make any transactions. Paramount Airways reserves the right to block online access to data by or through any third party website not authorised by Paramount Airways.

    XV Audit and Disqualification
    1. Paramount Airways reserves the right to audit any and all members' accounts at any time, without notice to the member, to ensure compliance with the rules set forth in the Terms & Conditions and the Paramount Airways' conditions of carriage (which apply to all passengers). Paramount Airways' conditions of carriage include a prohibition against actions involving fictitious multiple bookings. In the event of the audit revealing discrepancies or violations, the processing of Royale Award tickets and mileage summaries may be delayed until the discrepancies or violations are resolved.
    2. Violators are subject to having their Paramount Royale accounts inhibited (e.g., miles may not be redeemed from an inhibited account) or penalties imposed through the deduction of mileage from their accounts.
    3. Paramount Airways also reserves the right to disqualify any person from further participation in the Paramount Royale programme if, in Paramount Airways' sole judgment, such persons have violated Paramount Airways' conditions of carriage or any of the rules described herein.

    XVI Termination of Membership
    1. If the member wishes, he / she may terminate his / her membership by providing notice in writing and by cutting his / her membership card in half and returning it to Paramount Airways office. However, the member can redeem all his accrued Royale Miles as per the validity of such Royale Miles. Any such termination does not relieve the member of any continuing obligations under these terms and conditions.
    2. Paramount Airways reserves the right at any time in its absolute discretion to terminate the membership of any member to use the Paramount Royale membership card if a member commits misconduct, fraud, or is given a banning notice. Paramount Airways will write to such a member stating their membership is being terminated for this reason. Paramount Airways may, in its discretion, suspend such termination and impose a reduction in tier grade and / or remove Royale Miles and / or request undertakings in respect of future conduct.
    3. Upon the death of a member, his / her membership account will be closed and all outstanding mileage credits will be transferred to his / her legal heirs or representatives under a new membership account subject to compliance of all legal formalities.

    XVII Important Notice Concerning Programme Changes / Termination
    1. Membership enrolment and eligibility, earning Royale Miles, Award travel, availability of Awards and redemption are subject to the terms and conditions of the Paramount Royale programme and are subject to any applicable laws and regulations, including applicable IATA regulations. Paramount Airways may change, add to, modify or withdraw at any time without giving notice such terms and conditions as well as any benefits provided in connection with Paramount Royale and any special offers or promotional offers made to any tier or group of members.
    2. Paramount Airways reserves the right to change programme rules, regulations, Travel Awards, mileage award levels and special offers at any time without notice. This means that Paramount Airways may initiate changes, for instance, rules for redemption of Royale Award against Royale Miles, continued availability of Awards, blackout dates or limit seats available for Award travel to any or all destinations (including but not limited to, allocating no Award seats on certain flights).
    3. Paramount Airways reserves the right to terminate the Paramount Royale programme, by offering three months' notice. Unless otherwise stated, the Terms & Conditions of the members' handbook govern the programme and any benefit associated with it.

    XVIII Bonus Royale Miles Offer for Online Booking
    1. Bonus Royale Miles will be awarded only for bookings made and ticketed online and travel on Paramount Airways must be completed within the offer period.
    2. Bonus Royale Miles is applicable for all passengers who do an online booking.
    3. Standard Royale Miles for a sector will be awarded in accordance with the class of booking based on the multi-level Royale Miles accrual system. The 500 Bonus Royale Miles will be over and above the standard Royale Miles earned on that sector.
    4. The Bonus Royale Miles earned as a result of this promotion can be used only for redemption of Royale Award tickets.
    5. Only the base Royale Miles that you earn for a sector travelled on Paramount Airways will count towards your Paramount Royale tier status.

    XIX Bonus Royale Miles Offer for Web Check-in
    1. Bonus Royale Miles will be awarded only for web check-in done online.
    2. Standard Royale Miles for a sector will be awarded in accordance to the class of booking based on the multi-level Royale Miles accrual system. The 250 web check-in Bonus Royale Miles will be over and above the standard sector Royale Miles earned and the 500 Royale Miles earned as an Online Booking Bonus, on that sector.
    3. The web check-in Bonus Royale Miles is applicable to all classes of travel who will do a web check-in.
    4. The Bonus Royale Miles earned as a result of this promotion can be used only for redemption of Royale Award tickets and do not count towards Paramount Royale tier status. The web check-in bonus is only applicable for accrual, once the actual flight is recorded in the Paramount Royale account. Please note that it will take seven days for this Bonus Royale Miles to reflect in your account.
    5. If there is more than one passenger in a PNR and all have to be web checked-in, the Paramount Royale member(s) can avail of the 250 web check-in Bonus Royale Miles offer for his / her own travel only.
    6. Bonus Royale Miles are not applicable for a boarding pass re-printed using the web check-in facility, i.e., if a passenger has pre-blocked or tele checked-in using any other facility and re-prints his boarding pass using the web check-in facility, Bonus Royale Miles are not applicable.

    XX Limitation of Liability
    1. Paramount Airways shall not be liable to any member, or his / her nominee or companion, for any indirect or consequential loss, damage or expense of any kind whatsoever arising out of, or in connection with, the programme and / or the provision or the refusal to provide any benefits, whether such loss, damage or expense is caused by the negligence or otherwise, and whether Paramount Airways has any control over the circumstances arising thereon.
    2. To the extent permissible by local law or regulation, these Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with Indian Law. Paramount Airways and each member submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts in Chennai to resolve any disputes that may arise out of them.
